The Official Board of the Willis Chapel United Methodist Church met Friday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey North for their monthly meeting, with the following officers present: the Rev. Malcolm Maples, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Fox, Mrs. Judi Burke, Mr. and Mrs. Orley Seal, and the hosts.
Mrs. James Scott and daughter Sharon Fox returned Friday from a week’s trip to Dansville, N.Y., where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Travis.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Harris and Tammie of Haymarket and Shirley North of Chester Gap were Sunday luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Willie B. Mills and in the afternoon the group toured Skyline Drive.
News from the sick of the community indicate Raymond Mahoney came home Friday after several days in Warren Memorial Hospital and William North entered Winchester Memorial Sunday evening.
