Beauty Pageant
FINAL TOUCHES are being put on preparations for the annual beauty pageant sponsored by the Rappahannock Jaycee Chapter under the direction of Julian Brown. Entries are still open and will be taken at rehearsal tonight (Thursday) at the local elementary school at 7:30 p.m.
The pageant is scheduled for tomorrow night, Friday at 8 p.m. in the elementary school auditorium. Judging will be done in four groups: 4-7; 8-12? 13-15; 16-18, and all will wear street clothes except the older age group which will be required to wear evening gowns.
Proceeds from the beauty pageant, like all Jaycee funds, are used to carry out community projects of various types.
