POPULAR WINNER
Mrs. Peggy Houston of Castleton won a Popular Vote in the class of Prints and Drawings at the Neighborhood Art Show held May 11, 12 and 13 at Grace Church, The Plains.
Youth service
The Youth Group of Amissville Baptist Church will be in charge of a service Sunday evening, May 20 beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the church. The theme of the program is “When I Survey the Wonderous Cross,” and will be moderated by Charles Wright.
Taking part in the presentation will be C. G. Lawrence and Phil Settle as cross bearers; Roberta Harrison and Stan Settle, speakers; and an object lesson will be given by Kay Lawrence.
