Entertain at Tea
One of the nicest ways to visit with old friends or to introduce a new neighbor is still an old style tea or coffee “Klatch.” For refreshments, offer a choice. Bake or buy your favorite fruit and nut bread and feature one special cake. This sponge cake, filled with jelly and dusted with confectioners sugar, is a typical English tea cake.
