Book, Biographies and Autobiographies, there are three excellent judges in the persons of Noel Montague, Peggy Pryde and Marjorie Dahlgren, all broad readers.
The fourth catagory is that of Nature and Ecology Books. We have two expert, dedicated and knowledgeable judges in Miriam Harris and Capt. William Keim.
THE ELEMENTARY school book reviews will be judged by six sympathetic objective people, informed in the field of children’s literature. WASHINGTON Rescue Squad responded to a total of 91 calls during 1973. This accounted for 692 man hours expended and 4640 miles traveled. An average of three squad members responded to each alert.
Fifty of these calls resulted in trips to Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal; 18 to Culpeper Memorial; 6 to Winchester Memorial; 6 to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton; 4 to University of Virginia, Charlottesville and 2 each to veterans hospitals in D.C. and Martinsburg, W. Va.D
