BOTH THE House of Delegates and Senate during the past week have had to vote on an unprecedented number of bills that have been reported by the various committees. This past Monday was the last day the House could vote on House bills and that the Senate could vote on Senate bills, and from now until the end of the session each house must vote on bills that the other house has passed.
As this is written, I do not know what form the various controversial and major bills will take by the time they are voted on by either the House or the Senate; but among the bills that are likely to be voted on by either the House or Senate are revisions of the Blue Law, bills to provide collective bargaining for public employees and the pari-mutuel betting bill.
