VIRGINIA high school seniors who plan to pursue careers in the natural resource field may apply for summer jobs with federal resource agenc es under a program sponsored jointly by the Department of Interior, the U.S. Forest Service of the Department of Agriculture and the Izaak Walton League of America.
Game Commission Executive Director Chester F. Phelps, who is serving as chairman of the Virginia Selection Committee, said that to be eligible, senior boys and girls must be 18 by June 15, 1974, and be willing to accept assignment anywhere in the United States. The committee is seeking students “who have demonstrated potential for leadership and scholastic ability and who are physically capable, inmost instances, for field work.” ■ To apply, students should supply a: completed U.
