IT WAS MY PRIVILEGE to read an article on the “good life’’ in a current publication. What is the good life? Is it keeping up with the Jones or some other family who are with it? Some think that to be living at all is good; a thought with which I heartily concur. There was a song that used this phrase: “If you aint lovin’ you aint livin.’” And how about this—“The summer bonus of life is to love and be loved.” Let us see what others have thought about life. Plotinus 205-270 A.D., was ashamed to have been reincarnated into life, thinking perhaps that he should have been advanced to a higher plane.
