JOINING A growing number of professionals who are returning to the Culpeper region following training and initial experience elsewhere, Dr. Walter Kilby, M.D., has opened his office for the practice of pediatrics and adolescent medicine at 540 Sunset Lane, Culpeper. He is also serving on the medical staff of Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Kilby was born and reared in the F.T. Valley of Rappahannock County. He received his B.S. degree at the University of Richmond, and his medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond. Internship and residency were at Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta, an affiliate Institution of Emory University. Three years’ Army service was followed by two years on the medical staff at Fort Belvoir, as Chief Pediatrician during the final year before coming to Culpeper.
