Alcoholism
EVERY THURSDAY between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. the Rappahannock Area Division of Alcoholism Services provides counseling services in Culpeper to residents of the five county area—Culpeper, Fauquier, Orange, Madison and Rappahannock.
The Fredericksburg-based program serves three planning districts spanning a large area between the Chesapeake Bay and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Glen Cannon, the program’s director, is attempting to reach a greater portion of its population by starting small satellite programs such as the one begun in Culpeper on September 5.
