Lewis C. Nelson, a graduate of Rappahannock County High School who is now connected with the federal government in Washington, D.C., went to Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pa. Friday evening, September 6, aboard a special train with members of Congress, to attend a dinner in observance of the 200th Anniversary of the First Continental Congress of the United States with President Gerald Ford as the guest speaker. Governors of the Thirteen Original Colonies were included among the 1,500 guests. □
