SINCE they didn’t have any rezonings or anything like that to consider,, members of Rappahannock County’s planning commission devoted their last meeting to a discussioi) of the “Master plan” being concocted for the County. And their talk kept returning to a familiar theme: How can planning help county farmers stay in business?
The commissioners wanted to know about the “timetable” for the new comprehensive plan. Stephen Lessels of the Piedmont Environmental Council staff said that PEC will begin work on an “environmental inventory” around the first of February. Maps reflecting this exercise will probably be completed in early April, he added.
