QUEEN CONTEST**
The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary will sponsor a Queen Contest preceding the annual Firemans Carnival, July 30, August 2. Any girls 13 and older who are interested in participating are invited to come to the Auxiliary meeting June 18 at the firehall or call Ginger Biggs at 675-3652 after 5 p.m. for details.□
STUDENT ACCEPTED
Ferrum College has accepted Miss Dorothy Rebecca Walter, daughter of Mrs. John T. Harrison of Castleton, for the fall semester, 1975.
Ferrum’s spacious 754-acre campus is located 35 miles southwest of Roanoke, Virginia, in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is a co-educational, United Methodist-related college.□
CARD OF THANKS
I would like to express my appreciation to Mrs. Thomas Baldwin of Sperryville, for devoting her time and efforts in helping others. It was very comforting for me to see how well she performed her duties on the Sperryville Rescue Squad during my mother’s illness. My family and I would also like to extend thanks to all members of the Sperryville and Washington Rescue Squads for the excellent service they provided Mrs. Milton Norman recently.
