SAMUEL WIGINGTON of Sperryville was cited for hit and run and reckless driving June 4 after he damaged two vehicles on the parking lot at Rappahannock County High School. Wigington was driving a 69 Dodge when he struck a 69 Chevrolet owned by James Adkins of Washington and knocked it into a 68 Ford belonging to Mrs. James Perkins of Sperryville.
According to Trooper R. A. Baines, each of the three vehicles had an estimated $350 in damages. After leaving the scene, Wigington was apprehended and charged.
June 7, Roderick Brown of Culpeper, in a 69 Pontiac, lost control of his viehicle trying to avoid striking a deer and went through a fence on the J. W. Fletcher propert near Sperryville. The vehicle received $350 in damages also.
TROOPER J. A. Watson reported two traffic mishaps, both occurring Sunday.
