Candidate For Sheriff

I Everett J. Estes Sr. will be a candidate for Sheriff for Rappahannock County in the November 4, 1975 election.

I was born in Culpeper County November 1930 and moved to Rappahannock County in 1930 and have been a native of Rappahannock County for forty-four years. I attended school in Rappahannock County known as the Washington High School. I am married to the former Vivian Marie Henry of Front Royal. We have three children Ginger 21, Robin 19, and Everett Jr. 18.

I served in the United States Air Force as a Air Policeman from 1952 until 1956, my duties consist of all types of military policeman duties. I took my training in San Antonio, Texas and after which I served in Louisiana, Georgia and nineteen months in North Africa. For the last eleven months of the service I worked in the Military Security Office. Where all background investigations, homicide, rape cases, were handled pertaining to military personnel.

I served as deputy of Rappahannock from January 1972 until January 1975. I satisfactory completed the Basic Police Training Course in November of 1973 at the Blue Ridge College, Weyers Cave, Va. This course consisted of Traffic Control, Narcotics, Burglary, Robbery, Breaking and Entries, Domestic Relations and Adult and Juvenile Court Presission.

I believe in Law Enforcement and if elected I will work with the

people and for the people of Rappahannock on each complaint to the best of my ability.

I will appreciate the support of the citizens of Rappahannock County in the November 4, 1975 election.
