Cub Scouts of Den 2, Pack 123, and family members toured the Hall of Valor Museum and the New Market Battlefield Saturday Accompanying the Scouts were Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Brown, Mrs. Ruth Clark, Mrs.Lynn Baines, Mrs. Allie Baker, Mrs. Jackie Porter, Mrs. Helen Fletcher, Mrs. Dale Burke and Mrs. Elizabeth Streagle, Mark and Sherry Brown, Edie Eastham, Lee Baines, Anthony and Cynthia Porter. Scouts attending were Jeff Burke, Jeff Porter, Kevin Harrison, William Fletcher, Rob Brown, Richie Eastham, Harold Foster, Bobby Baines, Mike Del Grosso, Marc Streagle and John Freeman and Den Mother, Mrs. John Eastham.

BRIDGE CLUB MEETS

Mrs. L. J. Turner entertained the Washington Bridge Club Thursday evening. The guest of honor was Mrs. R. H. Powell of Franklin. Others playing were Mrs. B. J. Wood, Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. B. M. Miller, Mrs. Frank Spalding, Mrs. Harry Lee Smith, Mrs. Henry Keyser, Mrs. Elmo Flynt, Mrs. Mary Lea, Mrs. E. M. Jones, Mrs. George Davis, and Mrs. Harold Scoggin. Prizes were awarded Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Keyser, Mrs. Flynt and Mrs. Paul Miller.
