CHURCH NOTICE
Services will be held each Sunday morning at 11 a.m. at Washington Baptist Church. On November 23 immediately following the worship service there will be a very important business meeting of the church. All members of both Washington and Flint Hill Baptist churches are urged to attend this meeting.
Park visits up
To date this year, visitation to Shenandoah National Park has increased 20.8% and the month of October showed a 2% increase over a year ago. During October this year 443,100 visitors have been to the park and the 1975 total stands at 2,459,000.
Weather records at Big Meadows show the maximum temperature at 72 degrees while the minimum is 18. Rainfall measured 2.79 inches during October. □
