Michelle Willis of West Point, N. Y. was a member of the New York State Youth Team at the AllAmerican Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus, Ohio. This is the world’s largest horse show. Each year over 6,000 riders and horses gather at Hie Ohio State Fair Grounds for this, the major event mi the Quarter Horse Show circuit.
As a special feature of the show, each state sends its outstandingyoung riders to compete., in six special youth team events. Selection of the New York team members was based on competition in ten major quarter horse shows in the New York, Connecticut, New Jersey area. Michelle won her position on the team for her achievements in the showmanship division.
