placed in the library for student ideas on how the S. C. A. might use the money. The suggestions ranged from buying coat racks to getting a Spanish teacher! Sorry, I think the Spanish teacher will have to wait for another year.
Mr. Patterson and some of his physics students went moon gazing Tuesday evening. They positioned a telescope on the school rooftop to watch the lunar eclipse . . . they only had a few major difficulties. . .finding the moon, etc.
Actually it was too hazy to see the first half of the eclipse but the moon finally rose high enough so that the second half was visible. Passersby may have been a little confused at the sight. Don’t worry—the school may be crowded but they haven’t shipped us to the roof yet!
