Mrs. Herbert Foster returned home from a trip through Florida Monday. While there she toured Disney World, “America the Beautiful,” Cypress Gardens, Silver Springs, and Sarasota.
Monday guests of the Fosters were Mrs. Irvin Corbin, Darryl, Brad, Mike and Jeff of Hartwood and Mr. and Mrs. Gavor Foster and Chris.

Luke honored
Outstanding duty performance at Korat Royal Thai AFB, Thailand, has earned the Meritorious Service Medal for Captain Peter H. Luke, son of retired Air Force Colonel and Mrs. E.P. Luke of Sperryville.
Captain Luke was cited for his “professional skill, knowledge and leadership” as an assistant staff judge advocate, 388th Combat Support Group. He was honored at Bolling AFB, Washington, D.C., where he now serves with the 1100th Air Base Wing.
The captain received a B.A. degree in 1969 from the University of Virginia where be was commissioned through the Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps program. He earned his J.D. degree in 1972 at the University’s School of Law.D
