Vickie Laing was this year s winner of the Betty Crocker Homemakers Award. Congratulations, Vickie! A representative from Longwood College visited with Seniors last Tuesday.
There is going to be an addition to RCHS in the near future. A modular classroom which will be used as a reading lab for RCHS students is being constructed with funds made possible through a Federal grant,. That’s super!
The Varsity Club met this week to discuss wnat it will do with the money its members have made and also some plans about the athletic banquet this year.
The S. C. A. also met this week to make plans for the dance they are sponsoring in March and to discuss some ways they’ll be using the money they’ve acquired to date. They decided to spend at least part of it for track record display boards. Our track Panthers will really appreciate that.
