The First Grade Class at Rappahannock County Elementary School under the instruction of Mrs. Cathy Am and Mrs. Gracie Caliandro display the reply received from President Gerald Ford after the class sent him a card wishing the nation a happy 200th birthday. The children were excited by the reply. Mrs. Am used this method to explain the Bicentennial to the youngsters.
