THE final date to request a new farm wheat allotment for the 1977 crop year is July 1, 1976. Applicants must make their request by this date and meet the necessary requirements in order to get a wheat allotment. A few of the basic requirements state:
(1) Neither the owner or operator shall own or operate another farm in the United States with a current year allotment for wheat.
(2) The operator of the farm must expect to obtain more than 50% of his current year income from farming.
