French Festival
Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly held its third annual French Festival on Friday, June 4.
The morning program included a translation competition and film, “Le Ballon Rouge,” followed by a French meal of quiche lorraine, haricots verts Lyonnaise, salade de laitue, and chocolat St. Julien.
The afternoon program included French songs, a Breton dance by first graders, a short play by second graders, and a puppet show in French by Grade 6 students. □
