ashions and the changes in clothing over the years was the subject of one program and a slide was given on fashions by Home Agent, Llewellyn Allison. Amove, “We Told These Truths” was seen and a discussion followed led by Mrs. Donna Fisher. This completed the Bicentennial project of the 4-H girls.
BRIDGE PARTY
Mrs. I.O. Wolf entertained the Sperryville Bridge Club and additional guests at her home Friday night. Present were Mrs. E.A. McNear, Mrs. Elmo Flynt, Mrs. Frank Tabler, Mrs. R.E. Wood, Mrs. W.H. Lyne, Mrs. W.H. Cordle, Mrs. Bob Palmer, Mrs. Sean Kilpatrick, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. T.J. Pillar and Mrs. I.R. Kilby. Prize winners were Mrs. Flynt, Mrs. Wood and Mrs. Palmer.□
WATERMELON FEAST
On Saturday afternoon, June 12, at 2 p.m, the Forest Grove members invite the children, young people and folks of the community, to the Old Forest Grove School House for games and a Watermelon Feast. Games such as soft ball, Badminton, horseshoes, and croquet will be available. If anyone has a special game they would like to play, bring the props.
Prizes will be given to the individual or group winners. Come, bring your friends and enjoy a big slice of watermelon. □
