W.S. Jenkins
William Steven Jenkins, 83, of Knox City, Texas, died November 19, 1976 in a Knox City hospital. Formerly of Sperryville, he was a retired farmer, the son of the late Will and Homie Jenkins of Rappahannock County. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Tanzy Mae Parks Jenkins.
Survivors include five sons; Floyd T. Jenkins of Front Royal, Robert Jenkins and Charlie Jenkins, both of Sperryville, George Jenkins of Culpeper and Elizah Jenkins of Winchester; two daughters; Mrs. Estelle Skiles of Knox City, Texas and Mrs. Edna Riddle of Front Royal; three sisters; Miss Mary Jenkins and Mrs. Alice Nicholson, both of Sperryville and Mrs. Bessie Sisk of Falls Church; 22 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Sperryville by the Rev. Ronald Wiley. Interment was in the Sperryville Cemetery. □
