Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Susie Whitacker and a brother, Charles Jenkins, both of Baltimore, Md. A funeral service was held Thursday at the Ft. Belvoir Assembly of God Church conducted by the Rev. Erwin Mason. Interment was in the Middleburg Cemetery.
S.T. Brown
Strother Travis Brown, 75, of Columbia died November 12, 1976 in a Richmond hospital following a long illness. A native of Rappahannock County who had lived in Sperryville, Mr. Brown was the son of the late Thomas and Homesella Leake Brown, both of Rappahannock County.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Catherine Atkins Brown of Sperryville; three daughters, Mrs. Charles E. Overhusler of Alexandria, Mrs. Charles E. Payne of Fairfax and Mrs. Lawrence M. Kushner of Gaithersburg, Md.; three sons, Strother T. Brown, Jr. of New York City, Benjamin F. Brown of Winchester and Julian S. Brown of Sperryville; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Clore Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Malcolm Maples conducting the services. Interment was in the Sperryville Cemetery. □
