Company requests that the proposed surcharge go into effect on November 27, 1976, without suspension. However, the Commission, has by order of November 1, 1976, suspended the effective date until January 1, 1977, pending an investigation by its Staff. A hearing will be held, commencing at 10:00 A.M., December 3, 1975, in ffie Commission’s Courtroom, Blanton Building, Richmond, Virginia. The purpose of die hearing will be to receive evidence from the Company and the Commission’s Staff regarding the Company’sneed for a temporary rate increase pnor to a complete investigation and public hearing.
