Red Cross drive
“The American Red Cross does a lot of jobs in local communities. It helps anybody, anywhere, in many ways; the old, the young, servicemen and women, people overwhelmed by disaster and people who want to learn the things that help prevent disaster such as lifesaving and first aid,” according to Lt. Gen. Hugh Exion of Amissville.
“The Fauquier Chapter of the American Red Cross, serving Fauquier and Rappahannock Counties, is holding its annual Fund Drive during March,” said Gen. Exton. “Anyone not contacted by a local volunteer worker may send a contribution to the Chapter office at 53 S. 3rd St., Warrenton, 22186.”
“The Red Cross just can’t do the job without you,” he added.
