Bridge Club

Mrs. Edna Moore entertained the Flint Hill Bridge Club at her home Monday evening with^three tables playing. Present we^lMrs. Earl Edmonds, Mrs. E. MSvEastham III, Mrs. B. J. Wood, Mrs. Frank Spalding, Mrs. Eva L. Smith, Mrs. Emory C. Russell, Mrs. L. B. Burford, Mrs. T. L. Eastham, Mrs. James F. Massie, Mrs. W.G. Eastham Jr., Mrs. Paul Miller and Mrs. John S. Browning.

Mrs. Eva L. Smith was high prize winner and others receiving prizes were Mrs. Burford, Mrs. Spalding and Mrs. T. L. Eastham.

RCES field trip

The sixth grade students Of Rappahannock County Elementary School took a field trip March 25. They went to the following places: the U. S. Customs, Pullman Couch Co., Skyline Caverns and the Old Virginia Packing Company, all in the Front Royal area.

They left the school at 9:10 and returned at 3 p.m. Bus drivers were John Henry Woodward and Allie Huff.

Members of the school teaching staff who accompanied the students were Mrs. Sandra Hawkins, Mrs. Susan Hrbek, Mrs. Pamela Rowe and James Fountain. □
