umbus Cross, Pa. and the late Stephen G. Cornell.

Mr. Cornell was a retired government employe. He was a member of the William Memorial Methodist Church in Rockville, Md. and of the Kenneth Nash Post #8 in Washington, D.C.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Corrie Scroggins Cornell; a daughter, Mrs. Linda Sue Foster of Matrose, N.Y. and a brother, Stephen J. Cornell of Elmira, N.Y.

A graveside service was held March 30 at 2 P.M. in the Washington Masonic Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Malcolm Maples.

Thelbert Lewis Utz of Etlan died March 24, 1977 in the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville. He was 43 and was employed with the Sperry Marine Systems in Charlottesville. He was the son of Levi and Robbie Shotwell Utz of Syria and a member of the Etlan United Methodist Church. He was a native of Madison County.
