At a hearing on November 13, the Rappahannock Board of Zoning Appeals gave afterthe-fact approval to special use permits for a second dwelling on a lot in Harris Hollow and a new and used furniture business in Flint HHI.
“I object that people start these things before they get permission,” said Candy Coombs after William Foster explained that he wanted to run a new and used furniture shop in a house on Route 522. Foster's business had its grand opening a month ago.
‘‘They’re coming in here applying for a permit after a fait a compli, agreed Werner Krebser. “And that’s not the way to go.”
