The superintendent added that the winding gravel road has no adequate turn-around spot and presents a hazard to bus travel. A proposal from the supervisors to pay directly all bills for an underground gas storage tank sparked a procedural fight at last Tuesday’s meeting that left two motions dead for lack of a second.
During budget approval several months ago, the supervisors requested the school board to reconsider dropping underground gas storage tanks from its proposed budget, an allocation that the board had included for five years previously but never spent.
