The reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of persons responsible for the Halloween Night burning of four barns in Sperryville has reached approximately S8.000. Money has been donated by the county, several organizations and numerous individuals.
The reward will be paid only upon conviction of the arsonists. According to commonwealth attorney Douglas Baumgardner, the identity of anyone supplying information to the Rappahannock sheriff’s department or state police arson investigators will be kept confidential.
