Judging Team
Brooke Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Newbill Miller of Washington, is a member of the 1980 VirginiaTech Livestock Judging Team bound for the national championships scheduled for later this month.
Last week the team won the Southeastern National Intercollegiate contest after winning the Eastern National in September. Competing against nine university teams in Macon, Georgia, the 14member team from VPI placed First overall. The group was also divided into an A and B team with the A team placing first in swine and cattle and the B team placing first in sheep, second in swine and third in cattle.
In addition. Miller placed second overall in individual competition best finish for any of the VPI team members in individual contests. r
