Brown
Cecil C. Brown of Alexandria died Friday, November 14, 1980 in Woodbine Nursing Home. He was a native of Rappahannock County, born at Sperryville, the son of the late Eppa H. and Nannie H. Brown.
He was employed with Citizens National Bank then First and Citizens Bank for 36 years until his retirement in 1956 as executive vice president and trust officer to become a director and member of the Trust Investment Committee of the bank.
Mr. Brown was an organizing member of Belle Haven Country Club and assisted in the financing and construction of the George Mason Hoteh He was a former > ..member of the Chamber of Commerce and Retail Merchants Association and owned and operated the Virginia Electric Supply forp. for 26 years.
