'Ducktails' at theatre
The movie "Ducktails” is the feature attraction at the Gay St. Theatre this Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 15 and 16. This Walt Disney Productions movie has them all: Uncle Scrooge, Huey, Dewey and Louie, prefeminist Webby and the cheerfully incompetent pilot Launchpad McQuack, who all do their darndest to thwart Scrooge's hunt for the treasure of Collie Baba. The movie is rated G, and a matinee show will begin at.2 p.m. each day.
7 th grade spaghetti dinner
The seventh grade at Rappahannock County Elementary School will sponsor a spaghetti dinner on Thursday, Dec. 13 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the school. Tickets are $6 all-you-can-eat, $5 single serving, and $3 for children under 10 years. After dinner, there will be a drawing for winners of the raffle prizes, including dinner for two at the Inn at Little Washington.
RCES winter concert
The annual winter concert at Rappahannock County Elementary School will be held Thursday, Dec. 13 immediately following the seventh grade's spaghetti dinner, at approximately 7:30 p.m. The program will feature the school band and chorus. Gallery open house
The Middle Street Gallery will hold an open house on Thursday, Dec, 13 to show its Christmas shop, the gallery's December exhibition. It features handmade original art and craft items created by member artists. The selection includes pottery, baskets, paintings, prints, fiber arts, sculpture, handmade Christmas angels, decorations, jewelry and much more. The open house will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and refreshments will be served. The Christmas Shop exhibition will run through Dec. 30. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday through Sunday.
