Breakfast with Santa
The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Company will sponsor a breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 22 from 7 a.m. to 12 noon. Price will be $5 for adults and $3 for children under eight. Menu will consist of bacon, sausage, potatoes, apples, eggs, biscuits, orange juice, coffee, tea and milk. “Give the kids a chance to talk with Santa while the whole family enjoys breakfast,” said an organizer.
Monthly mother's gathering
The Trinity Episcopal Church will be host to the Mothering Cooperative’s monthly mother’s gathering throughout the cold months. The next meeting, Dec. 20 will focus on the lengthy list of tasks and the responsibility for mothers. “Giving ourselves recognition for our talents and skills, we will be offering each other a grab bag gift under $3 please,” said an organizer.
