Money for homeless , The Cougar Cub Scout den of Pack 123 has placed wooden boxes>rt(ie shape ; of houses in locations around the county to cpllect money for homelees children and their families. The money will be donated to Habitat for Humanity, an organization that provides homeless families with skilled • help and money to build or renovate a house in exchange for 500 hours of labor. The family then owns the house, and must agree to live in it for five years. The Cub Scouts built the boxes, painted them and made signs. The project was inspired, a leader explained, by a United Nations report that there are 90 million children in the world without homes.
