The following dogs have been picked up by Animal Warden Ray Pullen and are being held at the county’s animal shelter in Amissville. Call Tracey Clark at the shelter (703-937-3283 or 9373336) for more information about these animals.
• Sheepdog: one-year-old male, blue nylon collar, found on U.S. 522 at Boston. . • Bird dog: young male, black nylon collar, found in Old Hollow near Sperryville.
• Red bone hound: adult male.
• Red bone hound mix: oneyear-old male, found in Flint Hill area. \
• Hound/husky mix: young male puppy, found on Route 729 near Culpeper Co. line.
• Wire-haired beagle mix: adult male, brown leather collar, found near intersection of Route 231 and Route 618 in F.T. Valley.
• Yellow lab: adult male, found near Pine Knot Inn, (U.S. 211, three miles west of Washington).
• Springer spaniel: six-monthold female, AKC registered.
