Both legislators predicted an interesting session, and suggested that Gov. Wilder may have nearly as much difficulty with his fellow Democrats in the General Assembly as with the Republican opposition. “He’s going to have some problems with some of the things that he’s done,” Sen. Miller predicted.
“A lot of the Democratic leaders are upset that he didn’t bow and ask permission” before proceeding with his budget cuts, Del. Guest added. “He’s moving forward to fulfill his obligation to balance the budget: That’s what he’s got to do. ”
