That was the concern expressed by County Administrator John McCarthy during a meeting with Del. Guest, Sen. Miller, members of the Board of Supervisors and the School Board last month.
Mr. McCarthy has said that a regional consolidation of the Social Services offices, along the lines of the Community Services Boards, could cause “terrible damage” to the services in small rural counties like Rappahannock.
