Most of the department budgets the supervisors discussed Monday evening are not increasing much, and some are actually going down. Included are 2.25 percent increases effective in December for most consituttional officers and their staffs, with additional raises for Sheriff’s deputies. These salaries are set by the General Assembly. County employees whose salaries are not set by state law will have similar 2.25 percent raises.
