The Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Historic Resources recently approved the replacement of two state historical markers along roads leading into Rappahannock County.
One of the markers is at the border of Rappahannock and Warren counties, and the other at the border of Rappahannock and Madison counties.
The new markers will have the history of Rappahannock on one side, and the history of Madison County (in the south) or Warren County (in the north) on the other.
