1913 in Albemarle County, a daughter of the late Lewis Spencer and Eliza Wood Spencer. Mrs. Graves was a member of Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church. She was a cook for 24 years in Rappahannock County Schools.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. Burial was at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Jeffersonton.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandson.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, John Fate Graves; four sons, John Graves, Gordon Graves, William Rice Graves and Sidney Allen Graves and two grandchildren, William Allen Graves and Steven Davis Graves.
