un yeah, you get a little Chinook in Montana that blows warm temperatures up the Rockies in January, but that just signaled the start of a vicious winter that you hoped would end by April, and often didn't.
The old saw about Montana's having three seasons—July, August, and winter—is true.
So, what does this winter hold for us?
As I look out the window, I see the occasional bits of sleet bouncing around in what started as a cold rain.
I hear from totally unofficial sources that at least three major snowstorms are expected.
However, I have faith in Virginia's fickle nature. I'm keeping my parka, raincoat, and a pair of shorts by the door.
