BY THE TOWN OF WASHINGTON, VIRGINIA

KINDLY TAKE NOTICE that the Town Council and Planning Commission of the Town of Washington. Virginia will hold a joint public heanng on the 22nd day of September, 2008. beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall of, Washington, Virginia to consider the adoption of an ordinance as part of the Historic Distnct Ordinances to provide for guidelines for the Architectural Review Board to use and consider in acting upon any application or matter that comes before it. The guidelines constitute a comprehensive document setting forth development standards, building standards, material selections and design cnteria that would be applicable to remodeling or new construction within the Town of Washington.

A copy of the complete guidelines is available for inspection and/or copying at the town offices during normal business hours.

All are invited to attend the public hearing at the time and place aforesaid and present their views.

Pursuant to Section 170-129 of the Rappahannock County Code and Section 15.2-2204 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors for Rappahan nock County. Virginia, will hold a public hearing on Monday. October 6, 2008 at 7:00pm in the Courthouse in Washington. Virginia, in order to consider the following application:

SE 08-08-01 Christopher J. Boucher, dba All Star Septic, contract purchaser of the property located at 1558 Zachary Taylor Highway, Huntly (4.6301 acres. Tax Map 5, Parcel 6, zoned A -Agricultural, Wakefield District), owned by Edith T. North, desires a Special Exception permit to operate a contractor s office'shop'yard. Mr. Boucher plans to store trucks and equipment inside the former sawmill building. Exception allowed pursuant to Code Section 170-36E of the Rappahannock County Code.
