Judge Rayner Snead recently appointed three new trustees to serve different terms on the Rappahannock Library Board. They are Mrs. J. New bill Miller, Col. • Evan A. McNear, and Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt. They will replace Mrs. C.E. Johnson, Jr., Mr. Ike Parrish, and Mrs. N. K. G. Tholand whose terms have expired.
Sgt. John Clark is in Tehran. Iran at present competing in the CENTO (Central European Nations Treaty Orguniiation > shooting matches. The team left tor Tehran August 23 and will return to Germany September 10. The rifle team represents the United States. There will be teams from England. Iran and other central European nations.
Winners of the Whistle Cup Tennis Tournament in Rappuhunnock Monday were Alice Moore and Ray Brown who championed over other finalists. Pipsie Bichoff and T. Carlyle Lea Jr. The play-off took place at the court on Tholand's Piedmont Farm. Sperryville.
