what is coming .they live out their buck-stubbing, potty, jealous, conniving world trying to trump ouch other in thoir grub for happiness, stardom and riches but not necessarily in that order. One of my favorite characters to despise is deliciously devilish, Edvthe Dubary, played by Shirley Henderson. With claws out and ready to pounce, she steuls her every scene.
Mtuiy of the characters are played by actors you recognize immediately but you just can’t remember from where. A great character actor, Ciaran Hinds (There Will be Bliss!;" "Margot at the Wedding") plays the love interest of Ms. Dubary. You just hope he’ll wake up before she gets her daws into him. Her description of him at the cocktail party/'ho's the old one." sums her up.
Add the love triangle*s> of smarmy nightclub owner Nick, naughty Delysia. and old boy friend Michael < lee Pace). Miss iVttigrew has enough problems to solve to fill a year. But as the clocks tick on, we know she only gets a day! And in this romantic, farcical comedy that's enough.
