The glue that holds our lab together
Danielle Wojtasik is more than an administrative assistant for the lab and pathology group at Fauquier Health: she’s a major reason why the department runs so smoothly. Whenever the copy machine jams, or the phones start ringing off the hook, or a patient needs a specimen slide transferred to another facility, Danielle is on the scene.
I just like taking cam of peop e," she explains. “That’s basically what I do here. I also try to make sure our patients have a good medical experience.”
Danielle is most appreciated for her compassionate, positive, and friendly attitude, but she s also valued for her ability to rally the troops when a fellow coworker needs help.
“Our group really pulls together when someone else is suffering. Whenever 1 take up a collection, everyone participates willingly, and I don’t think you fmd that in very many places these days. We’re definitely more like an extended family.”
